Arriving in style:
We understand that traveling to the airport can be tricky, especially during busy seasons like the holidays. But have no fear, the United app guides you to the best curbside entrance at the airport, making it easy to have your rideshare drop you off exactly where you need to be.
Once you’re in the airport, we want to help you navigate to your flight with ease. That’s why we’ve added a personalized, in-app terminal guide to help you be as efficient as possible. Simply search within the app for your in-airport destination—whether it’s your departure gate, one of our United Clubs, or a nearby ATM—and the app will guide you step by step … literally. It’ll even tell you how long it will take to get there!
We know that time is of the essence as you prepare to board your flight. That’s why, with the United app, you’ll receive real-time alerts on when boarding will begin. You can also add text or email notifications within the app to ensure you don’t miss a beat. And, for iPhone users, you’ll have real-time access to your flight information from your Lock Screen or Home Screen, thanks to Live Activities.
With our in-app bag-tracking feature, you can follow along with your bag’s location throughout your travel journey, providing additional peace of mind.
It’s always our goal to get you where you need to be, when you need to be there. But when things don’t go to plan, know that we’re here to help. In the case of a canceled flight or a delay of more than an hour, you can now automatically see alternative options and re-book in the United mobile app. When eligible, you can also access hotel, meal, and rideshare vouchers within the app.
