At United, we’re in the middle of a total transformation, from innovating our digital experiences (such as our website and mobile app) to reimagining our physical spaces (including our aircraft interiors and airports). One area receiving notable improvements is our United Clubs. By opening wholly new Club locations and renovating existing Clubs, we’re creating premium spaces with unparalleled thoughtfulness and attention to detail and design. The best part: These new spaces are inspired by you, the customer, and the communities we serve!
The process began last year, with the opening of a brand-new United Club location at our Newark Liberty International hub, which serves as the cornerstone of the upgrades to the look and feel of United Clubs across our network. We are growing our footprint—with more spacious Clubs than ever before—and also taking this opportunity to infuse new technology and introduce a familiar brand with distinctly local flavors, art, and experiences.
From the moment you enter one of our new Clubs—perhaps through one of the self-scan entry lanes—the experience has been elevated and localized. As the United States’ flag carrier, our goal was to bring the best of each city to you with each Club’s look, feel, and flavors. In Newark, for example, we leaned into the unique architecture of the location and capitalized on the views of the Manhattan skyline, creating a loft-like space with a barista coffee bar, shower suites, and chef-prepared food offerings with an NYC twist. In Denver, meanwhile, we’re working to create a Rocky Mountain retreat with the outdoor feel of the Colorado landscape and the urban touches of downtown Denver.
This year, we are excited to bring five new United Club locations to you. In January, we opened a club at Chicago O’Hare on the C Concourse, which supports many of our customers departing for international destinations. In May, we opened the Terminal A United Club in Newark (above the brand-new terminal), and we plan to open a renovated location in Terminal C, near gate C73, this fall. Over the past few months, we’ve also opened two locations at our Denver International hub, with our first-ever location on Concourse A and our largest Club to date (the first of two locations) on Concourse B. For Denver, we are expanding to more than 100,000 square feet of Club space—more than at any other airport in our network and something only United has done!
Whether you come in as an existing United Club member or you purchase a one-time pass, I sincerely hope you will join us at a United Club during your travels soon, to experience this intentional design, local flair, and exceptional service—all inspired by you!
I wish you a wonderful journey, and thank you for your business.
