This summer, United became the first and only U.S. airline to offer all of our customers the option to pre-order snacks and beverages before they travel. Now available on select flights departing from Chicago O’Hare to Honolulu, Orange County, Sacramento, and San Diego, our pre-order option is expanding to all flights over 1,500 miles this fall.
Here’s how it works
• Five days before you fly, check out the Reservation Details section of the United app or united.com to pre-order food and beverage items available for your specific flight. You’ll also receive an email notification when pre-order is available.
• In economy cabins, you can pre-order snacks and beverages from our buy-on-board menu. You’ll need to enter your credit card information here but won’t be charged until your items are served to you onboard.
• In premium cabins, you can select your meal option directly from the United app or website. Once you make your selection, your receipt will be emailed to you.
Today, our upgraded food and beverage menu includes frequent flyer favorites such as Mango White Claw, Toblerone, and Oreo cookies.
